Education is one of the most important factors which influence the development of whole nations, cultures, as well as human race in general. Educating todays youth is crucial for the existence of scientists and thinkers of the future, for the development of technology, culture and society. Intellectual elites, as well as a society able to cope with the problems and challenges of the modern world, both depend on the quality and availability of university education. A person deprived of education is truly handicapped in the age of information in which knowledge in deed is power. That is why common access to university education is fundamental for building modern, well prospering societies. Common access to university education can only be provided if it is free for all. And there is one more important reason for it being so. Some might say that mainly good universities is crucial for the development of countries, but good education does not have to be free of charge. It is so in the United States and it is probably one of the best developed countries. But the development of countries cannot be more important than the development of individuals. And that is why the choice of occupation should at least partly be free from economic pressure. Such a situation is only possible when students don't have to pay for their education, and choose their occupation with regards to future credit payments. That is the other reason for which university education should be free for all, and it is equally important as the firs one.
